Welcome to release 1.1.0 of HOCKIO.

1. Player API Upload

Team managers and coaches now have the ability to upload and EXCEL file when registering their players against a team. This file is a specific layout and needs to be supplied to the coaches and managers pre uploading.

2. Email Templates

We have moved all hardcoded emails into the Email Templates setup tables. You can now adjust these for your specific requirements. We have also uploaded a list of {tags} to the HOCKIO support website so you know what {tags} are available for each email being sent.

3. Points Adjustment

New Menu option in xIMS to be able to manually add or subtract points for a team in a competition. This can be used to give a team an extra point(s) for various reasons. An example maybe that they get a 1 point bonus if they attend the season meetings. Points can also be deducted for various reasons, example, wrong player played in a match.

4. Standings Grids

Standings grids in both HOCKIO and WEB integration now shows and “Adj” column which will allow teams to see the additional points from the points adjustment features.

5. Minimum number of players registered in a team roster.

If a team has less players registered in a team roster than the “Minimum Required” in the competition setup, the match will automatically go into DISPUTE mode on Completion of the match. This will show with a reason explaining which team failed to have the minimum number of players.

6. Ability to HIDE competitions from the TEAM Registration Wizard List.

We have added another TICK box to the Competition Setup. The ability to hide this competition from the Team Registration Drop down list on the Team Registration Wizard. This can be used to hide the “testing / training” competitions you setup for internal testing usage.

7. Calendar was showing DELETED status matches, this has been resolved.

We had a bug where the calendar would still show deleted matches in the ALL view and also the turf view. This has been resolved.

8. Booking Management Requests have had TAB filters to display.

As the booking management screen will grow and grow through out a season, we have introduced TAB filters. You can now see the PENDING, APPROVED and NOT APPROVED bookings in seperate tabs. This will allow faster approval of the PENDING inbound requests.

9. HOKCIO Kiosk re-written to new layout / design

We have redesigned the entire HOCKIO Kiosk application to a new cleaner look. We have the ability to do all features via the KIOSK that managers can do via their mobiles. This is designed for the Surface Go Touch Screen tablets.

10. Draw Generation now has ability to short a full round, to fit competitions to specific time frames

You now have the ability to short a round in the draw generation. This allows you to have a HARD deadline for a competition. This will generate matches up until the HARD deadline and allow the draw generation to stop at this point. This is useful for summer hockey rounds where results really dont matter. It could result in not all teams having an even number of games or some teams not playing each other.

11. Results only competitions will auto complete if only one manager enters a result, 2 hours after match start time

We found during testing of our Manager entered Results only competition that most of the time only the winning manager would put in the results. We have put a timer on this so if only one team puts in a result, after two hours that result will stand. If the other manager then enters their result late it will show as a dispute.

12. Match Management bug fix, when deleting matches, you had to delete and then save, have removed save click.

We had a bug in match management when you deleted a match, you had to then also Save Changes. This was counter intuitive so we have fixed. You only now have to delete the match.

13. Ability to select Captain(s) and Goalie(s) on mobile / kiosk for Player Stats competitions. When 2 goalies selected, maximum player selection increases from 16 to 18

In both KIOSK and Mobile you can now enter your captain information and goalie information for the match. If you enter two goalies the team selection max changes from 16 to 18.

14. Captain and Goalie Selection during team selection

We have added the option to select captains and goalies for each match. If you select two padded goalies, you are able to select 18 players total as per FIH rules. If you have one goalie selected the system max is 16 players.
