HOCKIO was developed out of a need for a fully integrated Hockey Competition Software application available to all New Zealand hockey associations.
As full time software developers xileit Limited owners spend a lot of time volunteering at Whakatane Hockey. Whakatane Hockey is a small organisation with no paid staff, we managed all aspects of the association manually which took a lot of volunteer time. We went looking for a full solution, but only found various products that would do part of the job, but nothing that encompassed every aspect. As a result HOCKIO was born.
