Description:
This menu item is where you setup the yearly competitions that your association will run for the year. You also have the ability to Setup the layout of the Competition and the Info displayed on Registration page.
Fields and Values:
ID = Autogenerated number of the competition. This is the ID number used when you integrate the Standings / other screens into your association website.
League = Competition selection from the Competition Master List
Group = Which Competition Grouping this Competition is part of
Umpire Group = Which group of Umpires are used for this Competition
Email = Email address of the person who runs this competition. This is where emails will go when teams are registered, and also will be displayed to managers in the match day emails that are sent out.
Setup Button / Screen
This screen is where we setup the different defaults and components of the competition.
Format = Default length for new matches when manually adding matches. This is also used to set the length of the match when you use the Draw Generation
Field Size = The default field size, ie FULL / HALF etc
Fields = List of selected fields used for this competition. Select on the left and move to the right. If all fields are used, you can leave this blank.
Notes = Internal notes used for your reference only
Umpires = Selection of either Appointed Umpires or Self Appointed
Tracking = Results Only or Player Tracking

Affiliated Comp = Tick this if this competition requires the team to be linked to a registered Club/School
Players Registration Expiry = The default date the players have to use the LINK emailed to them to enter their player information. Once this date hits, they can no longer register players (you can overwrite for a single team if required)
Max Players = Maximum number of players
Min Players = Minimum number of players required
Umpire Rate = Amount paid to umpires to calculate in reports for umpire payments
Umpire Group = Which group of umpires can be used for this competition
Competition Info
What you enter in this field is what is displayed about the competition when selected in the “Register Team Wizard”. Normally you would display the competition information, like cost, nights played, trophy playing for etc.
