The registration process is a simple process done by both the Club/School and also the Association. Below is a generic step by step process that any Club/School and Association can follow to have their Club/Schools and Teams registered for each competition.

Step 1: – Association
Associations setup their Association website with a Registration Page. This page uses an IFRAME to embed the HOCKIO Club/School registration wizard.
Associations then direct each Club/School to this page so they can fill in the wizard.

Step 2: – Club/School
The Club/School enters all information throughout the registration wizard. This information is entered into the HOCKIO system once the Club/School clicks the submit button at the end of the wizard. At this time it also checks to make sure the Club/School is not already registered for this hockey season.

Step 3: – Alert Email
The Club/School and the Association both get an email advising that their registration has been completed and received.

Step 4: – Association
The association logs into the HOCKIO system. SETUP > Club/School Registration menu option. This shows a list of all registrations that have been completed. At this point the association will decide if the Club/School has entered valid information and they can Approve or Decline the registration.

Step 5: – Alert Email
Once the Association Approves the registration, the Club/School contacts will receive another email with a link to the Team Registration Page. They Club/School contacts can then send this to each of the managers for their teams to complete, or can complete this on their behalf for each team they are registering.

Step 6: – Club/School
The Club/School or Team Managers use the link in the email and fill out the Team Registration wizard for each team they are registering in each competition. They enter team information like Manager, Coach, Uniform and if a Turf Booking is required for Training purposes. Once they submit the registration we check to make sure there isn’t already a team with the same name and submit the information to HOCKIO.

Step 7: – Alert Email, Association
The association and the team manager both get an email confirming the registration process. The association is now required to either Approve or Decline the team. They can do this by logging into HOCKIO, COMPETITION > Add Teams to Comps menu item. In this menu they can choose the appropriate Season, Competition and you will see the registered details. Change the status to Approved and save changes.

Step 8: – Alert Email, Club/School
The team manager will now receive and email confirming the team has successfully been registered into the competition. This email will also include a LINK they can click and a deadline date for player registration information. The team manager is required to have the team players registered using this link before the deadline. Once the deadline date comes around the link is locked down and changes are no longer permitted. If changes are required, then the manager must contact the competition manager who can enable the link for further days as required.
